This versatile bunch of multi-talented artists seems to have done it all. They performed two sold out shows at the Music Museum billed as “Secrets: A Night with Aia, Barbie and Kitchie”, the first concert was held early December of last year with a repeat performance as a post-Valentine’s celebration.
This is the first concert they’ve team-up together that features OPM female dominance, staying power and the desire to keep making music. Alternative-rock icons Aia De Leon, Barbie Almalbis, and Kitchie Nadal are women of rock who sang their hearts out, played OPM favorites, and everything the crowd wanted them to perform live.
The recently held concert was packed with great news, good vibes and amazing moments — Kitchie shared the joy of being an expectant mother, Barbie showed a video montage of her kids as she sang a song she’s written for them, while Aia serenaded the audience with her song “Sundo” accompanied only by her acoustic guitar. The concert was also attended by singer-songwriter Ebe Dancel who collaborated with Barbie for the song, “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak.”
The Moffatts hits the stage in Manila with a crowd-pleasing concert held at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum on February 18, 2017. It’s a farewell tour, but only because it’s time to begin working on some new music and more interesting sound.
We’re lucky enough to take pictures at the special area in front of the stage. It’s not very often that people get the opportunity to shoot from the pit. We are thankful to Midas Promotions and Ms. Grace Foronda for this chance to get that perfect shot. It was an amazing photo pit experience!
The iconic pop rock band was known for hits like “Miss You Like Crazy,” “If Life is So Short,” Girl of My Dreams,” “Bang Bang Boom,” and “I’ll Be There for You,” among many others. The Moffatts reminisced on their previous biggest shows in Manila, performed their 90s hits, shared stories onstage, and offered new music to look forward to.
