“I was approached by the The Riverdance Productions. They asked me to lay my vocals on one of their tracks and I was like ‘of course, it’s an amazing opportunity and I would love to,’ and then we recorded the song and they wanted to release it early for the victims of the typhoon and I was completely all for it. All the proceeds will go to Red Cross for the victims of the typhoon and this is also included in “Songs for the Philippines” album with One Direction, Eminem and all those big names. Everything has been amazing and I’m so glad to help the Filipino people any way that I can,” tells Jessica in the press con organized by MCA Music Ph last 09 Dec 2013 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. “I love you guys so much. I hope all of you are safe and I really was very devastated by this tragedy and I hope you guys are okay and that all your families are okay. I love you guys so much. Thank you for being so supportive of me,” adds Jessica.
Jessica Sanchez has been in the country recently with world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao’s invitation to help kid’s hearing losses through Starkey Hearing Foundation. She’s been happy to be back and visit the Philippines. “It’s been, honestly, amazing. We’ve been driving around in these buses and I look at the country and it’s so green and so beautiful and on top of that the people are so welcoming and so kind. “I’m happy to be here for the charity, to inspire the youth and others to go out there and help others so I’m happy to be a part of the Filipino culture,” denotes Jessica.
Also, Jessica recently performed the national anthem in the Pacquiao-Rios fight and ofcourse her fans would love to hear her record and sing a Filipino song. “I would definitely love to record Filipino songs in the near future; the language is very beautiful.”
