Loisa Andalio, Daryl Ong and Jaya are pop performers representing three generation of voices who recently held shows at the most iconic concert venue in town, singing their own brand of music and celebrating life achievements with their respective supporters.
Spanning Three Generations
Loisa, the youngest among them marks her 18th birthday with her first ever concert; while Daryl stages “Daryl sONGs,” a one-night musical concert singing a mix of his original hits and covers; and pop icon Jaya showcases her distinctive singing voice and accomplishments in the music industry with her concert “No Boundaries.”
Putting them together in one blog post is a challenge. Each artist and performances have unique characteristics, I just focused on the experience, dynamics and little discoveries.
There is no doubt that they’ve rocked their own shows. Coupled with remarkable contemporary artistry, they also inspired each and every individual who came and watched their shows to continue to believe in Filipino talents and simultaneously impact everyone regardless of age and generations.
Loisa, Daryl and Jaya represented three generation of artists, honing their unique sound in the process while basking into a fascinating journey of music-making for the love of their fans and artistry. Together, they’ve shared their love for music in one live music stage.
Loisa Andalio started her career with the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” in 2014. Soon after, she manages to join the cast of top rating ABS-CBN drama series “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita,” “Be My Lady,” and “My Dear Heart” among others.
“I remember noong pagpasok ko sa PBB, andami kong fears. Natatakot ako na baka hindi ako magustuhan ng mga tao, na baka ma-evict ako agad pero sabi ko sa sarili ko na magiging totoo lang ako. Gusto kong makapag-inspire ng maraming kabataang tulad ko. Ngayon na marami nang nangyaring magaganda at heto kasama ko pa rin kayo, I am truly blessed! Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat,” confess Loisa in her most memorable night at the Music Museum.
Highlights from her concert include a dance production with Hashtags boys, a duet with her Daddy Leo and a special BFF production number with her bestfriend Maris Racal. “LoiNie” fans went crazy over Ronnie Alonte’s surprise appearance at the concert, offering Loisa a bouquet of flowers and a song, “Mahal na Mahal Kita.” Concert highlights video below by OneMusicPH.
“Sobrang kinikilig pa rin ako sa duet namin ni Ate Yeng. Siya po talaga ang inspirasyon ko sa music kaya napakasaya ko noong binigyan ako ng chance ng Star Music na maging recording artist gaya nya,” as Loisa expresses her admiration to pop-rock singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino. They collaborated Yeng’s original song, Jeepney Love Story.
#LoisaAt18 concert is her biggest dream fulfilled and what makes Loisa very inspiring to the younger generation is that she beautifully shares the struggles she went through, performs her best for her supporters and will continue to work hard and not give up on her dreams.
