On October 25, 2014, the championship of Akapela Open 2014 held the ten finalists’ last a capella performances of their lives, their battle to win the best contemporary a capella singing at the Meralco Theater.
We are thankful to Ms. Krina Cayabyab for trusting us again the photo coverage of Akapela Open’s second season. It has always been great to work with the best in the music industry. Thank you also to Aileen Siwa for helping us accomplish all the tasks.
I look around, we could see that a capella singing has become increasingly popular. Additional factors are due to the beautiful music mash-up performances from Pitch Perfect movies and The Sing-Off 3rd Season champion, the incredible Pentatonix.
And because this vocal competition is a project spearheaded by The Music School of Ryan Cayabyab, a competition deemed to be the first of its kind in the country. It aims to promote contemporary a capella singing and appreciation for vocal harmony performance.
Enjoys capturing, editing, and sharing content across social media platforms alongside music photography. The birth of this blog is a testament of my credence on the power of images in conveying stories.
