2017 is about to pass and you probably watched one or any of the great foreign artists who dropped by the country to this death-defying year of awesome concerts. This year, we were treated to the music of Bryan Adams, Goo Goo Dolls, Shawn Mendez, The Moffatts, Coldplay, James Taylor, David Guetta, Village People, Liam Gallagher, In the Mix, Dream Theater, Michael Learns to Rock and Britney Spears to name a few.

Ovation Productions has produced Incubus’ previous concerts in Manila including the last in 2015. Iconic multi-platinum Los Angeles rock band Incubus is collectively interested in challenging themselves to find new, innovative ways of writing music that continue to evolve them organically. As a result, the 11 tracks comprising “8” assemble a mosaic reflective of the band’s current mind set.

8 arrives at a significant milestone for Incubus—releasing exactly 20 years since their major label debut S.C.I.E.N.C.E. landed back in 1997. A little older, a lot wiser, quite tighter, but equally ready to challenge themselves and rock music at large. Incubus is changing their perspective once more in 2017 and this time around, the atmosphere will be more addicting.

After the recent cancellation of Ed Sheeran’s five shows in Asia due to arm injury, he has recently announced the rescheduling of his “Divide Tour” including Manila.

Ed’s epic rise as phenomenal solo artist is characterized by his chart-topping recorded music and online milestones. The Suffolk-born artist has also broken records in the live sphere over recent years. In July 2015, Ed took to the stage of Wembley Stadium becoming the first-ever artist to headline the prestigious venue without a band, with just his trademark loop pedal and guitar, and performed to 240,000 people over three consecutive sold-out nights.

We definitely appreciate his one-man show, sincere folk brand of acoustic pop and artistry which sets him apart from his contemporaries. He will absolutely let fans sing with his live inclusions as they will surely admire this laudable Divide Tour concert.
