Sitti’s Bossa Love

Sitti Bossa Love albums OUT NOW

“This album ay para doon sa mga unang nakakilala sa akin na nagustuhan nila na gumagawa ako ng covers of popular songs done in a certain way and ‘Sittified.’ The carrier single is “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5,” says the Philippines’ Queen of Bossa Nova Sitti on her interview with Boy Abunda. Listen to the full song HERE.

“Bossa Love” has been out in record stores nationwide since 28 Nov 2013, Sitti’s newest record released under MCA Music Philippines. Featuring 14 songs arranged and produced by Marvin Querido, ranging from late 90’s to late 2000’s, including top favorites “Stickwithu” by the Pussycat Dolls, “Back To You” by John Mayer and “Thank You” by Dido. Love the album’s summer feel and her signature bossa nova sound which has given me the same relaxing experience in Bossa Café.

Bossa Love has pop cover releases of Shaggy, Santana, New Radicals, Sheryl Crow,  Backstreet Boys, Coldplay, Robin Thicke, Norah Jones, Kenny Lattimore and TLC turned in a re-imagined pop bossa rendetions. Looking forward to hear an all-original bossa record soon, it’s one of her dreams she mentioned in her recent radio tour. Her goals include: to record a full album solely written by her, to create her own sound and to record an internationally released album. As always, we believed in her music and her artistry even through covers or to her interpretations of original songs. She’s exceptional in her genre. You can help make all her dreams come true by simply being the best solid Sitti supporter as you can be. It’s as easy as buying her original album, Bossa Love now available nationwide or download via iTunes or Spinnr or get to see her live on gigs.

The Bossa Love Press Con

Sitti’s Bossa Love intimate press con was held yesterday (09 Jan 2013) at the very cozy Victorino’s at Quezon City. I’ve heard her goals set for this year including writing her own songs, producing her own sound, explore more of her artistry and an international career. May she continue to be inspired to meet all her dreams come true. “It’s something I’ve never really made a conscious effort of,” mentioned Sitti in the press con.
