JMKO, Jeremy Glinoga, Miguel Odron, and Sam Mangubat: Rising new male artists headline Song Feels concert

Today’s rising new male artists namely JMKO, Jeremy Glinoga, Miguel Odron, and Sam Mangubat headline the recently concluded concert entitled “SongFeels” at the Music Museum. And I’m lucky enough to see a playlist of all the songs they performed on Spotify to be able to pull-off this post.

Sound-wise, you couldn’t find a fault from their performances and I’m inspired to share these young artists’ robust vocal foundation instantly apparent from the concert, gathered in one from different influences. Their discography is varied from Adele, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, and Shawn Mendez among others.

With powerful style and versatility, all four have earned themselves the love from the audience as the headlining act begins with “Idol Philippines” contender Miguel Odron. This was followed by JMKO, also known as Miko Manguba, a former member of GMA-7’s boyband Top One Project.

Jeremy Glinoga on the other hand, a discovery in the first season of “The Voice Teens,” has shown a flair for both singing and dancing while multi-awarded singer Sam Mangubat has completed the great validation of #SongFeels, rising to fame as the first runner-up in the first season of “Tawag ng Tanghalan” on “It’s Showtime.”

Friday evening’s performance filled the audience a taste for pure, radiant, and youthful pop. This concert collaboration has generated convincing noise as everyone was hyped up with undeniably energetic stage presence. Their solo performances have allowed each of them to show their unique styles.

Highlighting the concert is the Queen of Theme Songs Angeline Quinto as she graces the show with songs “Kunin Mo Na Ang Lahat Sa Akin” and “Nanghihinayang” in one awesome mash-up with Sam, JMKO, Jeremy, and Miguel. Video below is courtesy of MrMunggo.

Leaving the audience wanting more, a subtle shift to heartbreaking versions of OPM songs “If the Feeling is Gone,” “Jealous,”“I Love You Goodbye,” and “Someday” received the most cheer. Video is courtesy of OneMusicPH.

In connection, we’re on the edge of our seats to support their new releases: JMKO’s “Aahon” (from the “Story of Yanxi Palace” – Chinese drama being aired on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida) and Sam Mangubat’s Acoustic Covers 2.0 EP with four songs. We are looking forward to more shows and more songs from these awesome four!
